More mortgage lenders offering cashback deals
A host of banks and building societies are providing cashback with their mortgages.
Halifax is offering first-time buyers and home movers who complete on a qualifying mortgage £1,000 cashback providing they apply by 24th June 2018.
Accord Mortgages is another large lender offering £1,000 cashback on some of its 95% first-time buyer mortgages. Clydesdale Bank and Atom Bank also provide £500 cashback on selected products.
Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, says: “There is so much competition in the market and rates are so competitively priced, the lenders need to do more to temp borrowers to take their mortgages.”
Leeds Building Society has a range of cashback mortgages and West Brom is offering £300, £400, £500 or £1,000 on a few products. Furness Building Society provides £1,500 cashback on one of its product.
Cashback is normally paid through you conveyancer on completion of the mortgage.
