Lloyds offering selected borrowers free iPad mini
Lloyds Bank is offering some of its new mortgage customers a free iPad mini in a bid to lend more money.
The lender has announced that first-time buyers and homemovers will qualify for the iPad as well as six months’ free technical support from the technicians Geek Squad.
Aaron Strutt, product manager at Trinity Financial, says: “Over the last few weeks the lenders have offered a few gimmicks to temp borrowers, but there aren’t many banks or building societies providing free iPads.
“It is always important to check that you are getting the best mortgage deal as some rates are much higher than others. Paying more than necessary could cost you a lot more than the price of an electronic gadget.”
