Investec improve their buy to let mortgage rates and fees
Investec Specialist Bank has lowered their buy-to-let mortgage rates by up to 0.4% and improved their standard mortgage arrangement fees.
Their lowest buy-to-let two-year fix is 3.99% and it is available to borrowers with a 30% deposit. The arrangement fee is 1.5% of the loan amount and there is a £250 application fee.
Trinity Financial has access to an exclusive buy-to-let mortgage rate with Investec, and it is a two-year fixed rate at 4.69% with a £2,245 arrangement fee. The maximum loan size is £1.5 million.
The rental cover calculation is 125% at 5% and the maximum portfolio size is £5 million or six properties. To qualify for a mortgage with Investec, they require business professionals to have a minimum income of £75,000 and qualified professionals need to be earning at least £50,000 a year.
