Abbey for Intermediaries has launched one on for the lowest ten-year fixed rates at 3.94%. The mortgage has a £995 arrangement fee and the maximum loan size is £1 million. Borrowers will need a 40% deposit to access the rate. Anthony Emmerson, a director at Trinity Financial, says: “Many of the banks and building societies have lowered their five-year fixed rates in particular but they are starting to offer better ten-year rates. “Woolwich's ten-year fix at 3.89% is slightly more competitively priced but it has a £1,499 arrangement fee. The lender also asks borrowers to put down a slightly lower deposit than Abbey at 30%.” June 14, 2013
