Trinity's clients in The Sunday Times - £300,000 Help to Buy mortgage
Alex Peacock is benefiting from the government's Help to Buy guarantee scheme. Along with his girlfriend, Laura, an interior designer, they are buying their first home in Blackheath, southeast London.
With help from the broker Trinity they have secured a £300,000 loan with Halifax, fixed at 5.19% for two years, to purchase a two-bedroom flat.
Peacock, a data planner, said: "We found Help to Buy relatively straightforward, although when it launched there was suddenly a large number of people looking to buy at the same time as us.
