The Times - The great rush to remortgage

The Times reports that homeowners are rushing to remortgage on to longer-term fixed-rate deals due to fears over interest rates and Brexit.

Aaron Strutt from Trinity Financial, the mortgage broker  told The Times that lenders are continuing to benefit from cheap quantitative easing finance: “One manager at a large lender told me he would not be surprised if rates came down again because they have access to such cheap funding.”
