The Times - Mortgage rates fall, but arrangement fees are rising
Homebuyers may think that it’s sensible to pick the lowest mortgage rate, but it doesn't always make sense.
Aaron Strutt, of Trinity Financial, told The Times: “Most of the banks and building societies are still lowering their rates as they look to hit their annual lending targets or make sure that they get off to a good start next year. Some lenders are telling us they are busy and don’t want to increase the number of applications, but they are still lowering their rates.”
