The Sunday Times - The key to your new home could be snatched away by the surveyor
The Sunday Times reports property valuations are being hit by down valuations around the country particularly in London and Manchester.
Aaron Strutt of the mortgage broker Trinity Financial, told The Sunday Times: “High street lenders are increasingly relying on desktop valuations to produce faster mortgage offers.”
“We advise many of our clients buying older properties to contact a local valuer and pay for a separate inspection if it potentially needs work.”
