The Sunday Times - Mortgages at home getting tougher
Mortgage lenders are already clamping down on those looking to buy their own home while earning their income in a foreign currency.
Aaron Strutt, of Trinity Financial, told The Sunday Times: “This will hit a range of borrowers, especially if they are working abroad and planning to buy a property in the UK. These often include bankers, teachers and engineers.
“It is surprising how quickly the lenders have acted and pulled out of this market.”
