The Sunday Times - Don't be too hasty to fix your mortgage

Borrowers willing to bet on low interest rates could save thousands of pounds over the next five years by choosing a tracker mortgage over a more popular fixed-rate deal, according to calculations by The Sunday Times.

Aaron Strutt of the broker Trinity Financial said: “We are starting to see some of the biggest lenders turning their attention to trackers and are undercutting the fixes.”
