The Sunday Times - Property bets for next year - December 2013

Speculation is mounting that 2014 could be the last year of rock-bottom interest rates, suggesting borrowers should lock into longer-term fixed loans before it is too late. Aaron Strutt of Trinity Financial, another broker, said: “It is very important to have a clear credit history and a decent credit score. The lenders rely so heavily on the credit reference agencies that you need to pay your bills on time.” Mr Strutt went on to say: “Many of the banks and building societies are planning to lend more money next year and they will need to offer decent mortgages. Santander has already started to offer its customers bigger mortgages as it looks to ramp up lending.” Click here to view Trinity Financial in The Sunday Times £ We are not responsible for the accuracy of the information contained within the linked sites accessible from this page.
