Families will have to declare how much they spend on dry cleaning, parking and glasses when applying for a mortgage, as lenders make the process ever more intrusive. The article says: "One lender has drawn up a list of extra probing questions for its residential mortgage applications, which asks for monthly spend on MoT, fuel and car maintenance. Those who do not drive will need to say how much they spend on public transport each month. Borrowers will also have to list how much they spend on personal grooming, dental bills, cleaning products and pets." Aaron Strutt of the broker Trinity Financial told The Sunday Times: “Many of the regular payments you make will reduce the amount you can borrow.” Click here to view the full story in The Sunday Times £ We are not responsible for the accuracy of the information contained within the linked sites accessible from this page.
