Homeowners with deposits of only 5% will be able to access the Help to Buy mortgage guarantee without moving house from tomorrow. Aldermore, which has been operating since 2009, is the first bank taking part in the government scheme to offer 95% loans to borrowers who want to remortgage. It will introduce two-year fixed rates at 5.28% for those with 5% deposits, or 4.98% with deposits of 10%. Both deals have a £999 fee. Aaron Strutt of Trinity Financial, told The Sunday Times, said: “Aldermore is happy to discuss lending to borrowers if they have been turned down by a high street bank.” Click here to view the full story in The Sunday Times £ We are not responsible for the accuracy of the information contained within the linked sites accessible from this page.
