Mortgage lenders are giving out more loans to first-time buyers than those already on the housing ladder — something that has not happened for 20 years.
Aaron Strutt, of the broker Trinity Financial, told the Daily Mail: ‘It has become more complicated to get a mortgage, but lenders are more willing to lend to first-time buyers.’
