Teachers Building Society relax their buy-to-let acceptance criteria

Teachers Building Society has relaxed the acceptance criteria on its buy-to-let mortgage range and lowered arrangement fees on one of its products. The Dorset-based society offers mortgages to teachers and those working in the education sector. As they look to increase their lending volumes and improve their acceptance criteria, the lender has raised the amount of properties a landlord can have with them from three to eight. They have also lowered their minimum income requirement to £15,000 a year. Their lowest buy-to-let mortgage rate is a two-year discounted rate at 2.99% at 75% loan-to-value and it has a £1,998 arrangement fee. If you’re a teacher looking for a residential or buy-to-let mortgage, call us on 020 7016 0790 and we can tell you if the Teacher’s is offering you the lowest mortgage rate available.  August 30, 2013
