RBS and NatWest popular options for Help to Buy mortgages

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and NatWest have received more than 6,800 Help to Buy applications, according to figures in the Financial Times.

Out of the 6,800 applications they have provided approximately 2,330 mortgages. RBS and NatWest recently increased the price of the 5% Help to Buy mortgages and they are not as competitively priced as they were. Trinity Financial has access to Woolwich's two-year fixed rate 5% deposit mortgage at 4.99%. It does not have an arrangement fee and the APR is 4.8%.

After the fixed rate period the mortgage reverts to the Bank of England base rate plus 3.39% - currently 3.89%. Call Trinity on 020 7016 0790 to secure a leading Help to Buy mortgage.
