Private bank offering 95% ltv interest-only mortgages

Trinity Financial has access to a private bank offering 95% loan-to-value mortgages on an interest-only basis.

There is a minimum loan size of £1 million, and applicants have access to a range of two, three, five and ten-year fixed rates. There is also two and five-year trackers, plus an offset rate.

The private bank will lend a maximum of 4.5 times the salary and use the sale of the property as a repayment vehicle. Clients will need to make overpayments and ensure the mortgage is reduced to 75% loan-to-value within five years.

Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, says: "If you are looking for a low deposit large mortgage loan, then this private bank is offering extremely competitive terms.  The mortgage is likely to appeal to bankers and other high-net-worth individuals.

"Most private banks will require a much larger deposit and ask borrowers to put funds in a linked saving account as part of the transaction."

The mortgage is available to UK residents and British expats purchasing a residential property in the UK.
