In Mortgage Strategy’s new quarterly survey, a panel of brokers and networks rank the biggest lenders over the last three months.
The implementation of the Mortgage Market Review rules in April was not plain sailing for all lenders and their practices have come under close scrutiny in the past few months.
However, Trinity Financial product and communications manager Aaron Strutt argues Woolwich is still generous with its mortgage affordability calculations and its rates are often well priced.
“Some of the £2m maximum loans offer incredible value for money and they really give the private banks competition,” he says.
